Erica Patton is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the housing industry, bringing a distinguished background in housing systems, public policy, and program administration. She earned her degree from Western Michigan University in 2012 and has built a career grounded in ethical leadership, regulatory expertise, and results-driven housing solutions.

Ms. Patton was appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer to serve on the Michigan Interagency Council on Homelessness, where she collaborates with state agencies and cross-sector partners to develop and advance coordinated, statewide strategies addressing homelessness and housing stability. Her leadership extends to board service roles, where she contributes to governance, strategic planning, and organizational accountability.

She possesses extensive experience with state and federal grant programs, including funding administered through the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Her work includes grant compliance, program implementation, oversight, and reporting, ensuring alignment with regulatory and performance standards.
