Anita Johnson started with Lockhart Management & Consulting in 2014 as a Recertification Specialist. She has currently held the position of Compliance Specialist since 2018, where she ensures Lockhart Management & Consulting completes all move-in and recertification documentation in accordance with HUD regulations. She also routinely works on-site at various properties.
In 2022, Johnson impressively processed, verified, and approved nearly 200 applications for Lodge House, a 60-unit building that had been converted from a motel into affordable housing in the Kalamazoo area.
Johnson has completed multiple certifications including Occupancy Specialist, Advanced Occupancy Specialist and Tax Credit Specialist. In addition to her certifications, Johnson earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2008, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University in 2014.
