Lisa Willcutt, CPM® is a principal of Lockhart Management & Consulting, LLC located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Lockhart Management & Consulting (LMC) is responsible for the management and leasing of multi-family and commercial properties in Southwest and West Michigan.
Willcutt has effectively balanced roles in co-piloting the development of LMC, while maintaining adherence to government agency and internal protocols. With more than 25 years of experience in her field, she maintains a State of Michigan Real Estate Broker License and is a Certified Property Manager® by the Institute of Real Estate Management.
During her advance from Property Manager to Partner while with Phoenix Properties (1994-2012), she was responsible for the oversight of 694 units in ten federally subsidized nonprofit multifamily properties, located over four municipalities.
As a founding Principal in LMC, Willcutt is responsible for the conventional needs of residential properties, all operations typically associated with Federally assisted housing, and the challenges of enhanced resident services. Additionally, Willcutt oversees management of four nonprofit commercial buildings in Kalamazoo. She has worked directly in managing LIHTC, project-based Section 8, permanent supportive housing, 202/8 and Section 811 PRAC properties. She also has coordinated the full Market-to-Market restructuring of three properties, refinanced propertied using the HUD 223(f) program, as well as initiated a rate for the development of new affordable housing for persons with a disability.
More recently, Willcutt has assisted in the redevelopment of Lodge House, a 60-unit motel conversion to affordable housing in Kalamazoo.
Willcutt is a graduate of the Leadership Kalamazoo program and serves on the board of Guardian Finance and Advocacy Services, an organization that assists individuals retain their independence.
