Melissa Dillon, CPM® is a principal and Vice President of Lockhart Management & Consulting, LLC and has worked in property management since 2007. She has held a State of Michigan Real Estate Salesperson license since 2008 and received her Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 2018. She obtained her Real Estate Broker License in 2025.
Dillon is responsible for preparing procedures to ensure compliance with new HUD Notices, including creating the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Emergency Transfer plan as well as company-wide training in the Plan and preparing for the HOTMA changes to HUD procedures. As a property supervisor, Dillon has ensured HUD compliance for the Lockhart Management & Consulting portfolio of properties, as well as overseeing the activities of HUD subsidized properties. In addition, Dillon oversees internal company protocols.
Dillon has worked directly with the conventional needs of residential properties and all operations typically associated with Federally assisted housing, including project-based Section 8, 202/8 and Section 811 PRAC properties. She has ushered through several property improvements including mortgage rate rollbacks, refinancing and rehab projects.
Dillon is a member of the Leadership Greater Kalamazoo class of 2026.
