Melissa Dillon, CPM® has worked in property management since 2007, has held a State of Michigan Real Estate Salesperson license since 2008, and received her Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 2018. As a property supervisor, Dillon ensures HUD compliance for the Lockhart Management & Consulting portfolio of properties, as well as overseeing the activities for six HUD subsidized properties.
Dillon is responsible for preparing the HUD requested Management and Occupancy Review paperwork and submission to HUD. She also prepares procedures to ensure compliance with new HUD Notices, more recently created the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) Emergency Transfer plan as well as company-wide training in the Plan.
In addition, Dillon prepares and submits Housing Assistance Payment Contract renewal paperwork to HUD, and prepares monthly HUD assistance billings. She is also responsible for reviewing and updating resident selection plans.
In 2013, Dillon spearheaded a mortgage rate rollback for a senior property, Portage Pines, in order to allow staff to be added and provide residents more services.
